Chandram Bhajamaanasa
Chandram Bhajamaanasa song in Asaveri Raaga has been one of my all-time favorites. But I had not heard it for a long time. Today, when I went walking, I plugged on this song to my earphones and boy, did it feel good! In spite of having heard so many times, I still get goose bumps when the Raaga touches the unknown nerves. Truly beautiful!

Yes, that song is also my favourite. I love the line, Indum Shodasa kalaadharam...
Very true. I wasn't a fan of this raga until I came across "Chandram bhaja". Dikshithar gives a whole new interpretation to this raga - he infuses a lot more bhakti than just soberity. Maybe it has to do with the slow tempo and the dhanyasi-like phrases.
